Kids Art Camp to begin July 12

The Willow Springs Arts Council announces the return of Kids Art Camp. This year’s Art Camp will begin on July 12 and run through July 14 for children who have completed First through Fifth Grades. Long time art instructor, Ginny Thomason will be conducting the classes and will be doing a mixed media self-portrait, a landscape, and a watercolor storyboard. 

The following week, July 19 through the 21, Whitney Smith will be conducting classes for those who have completed Sixth through Twelfth Grades. She will be teaching a painting class, a Steam Punk 3D sculpture, and a print making class. 

Each session will be held on the second floor of the Ferguson Building in Willow Springs and begin at 1:00 p.m. and go until 3:00 p.m. Classes are $5 per session. There is a family discount for 3 or more students. Supplies and a snack are included.

Students must be registered before class begins. Registration can be made at the Ferguson Building front desk during business hours: Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
