Col. (retired) Crockett W. Oaks, III to present program at NSDAR meeting

Join Ozark Spring, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (Ozark Spring, NSDAR) in welcoming guest speaker, Colonel (Retired) Crockett W. Oaks, III who will present his program, “The Sadie Brown Cemetery: It’s Past, Present, & Heroes” on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 2:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, 1401 Bill Virdon Blvd., West Plains. 
During Col. (R) Oaks’ presentation he will provide an overview of the Sadie Brown Cemetery’s history and the efforts currently underway in the preservation of its grounds. Col. (R) Oaks’ presentation will also explore the life and heroism of those known military personnel interred there. It promises to be informative, intriguing, and invaluable for its relevance to our local community. Meeting hostesses are Lois Frazier and Jessica Joice-Frazier.
All Ozark Spring, NSDAR meetings are free and open to the public.
