The American Red Cross will hold a blood drive on Monday, April 18 at the Willow Springs United Methodist Church located in the Fellowship Hall on 311 North Harris St. The blood drive will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
To maximize donations and help more patients, if you are a type O, B negative or A negative donor, consider making a Power Red donation. Red blood cells are the most commonly transfused blood component.
Donors that give blood during April 1 to 18 could get a Red Cross t-shirt, while supplies last. Schedule a blood donation appointment today by calling 1-800-733-2767 or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter UMCWS to schedule an appointment.
