The AmVets Post 98 is now open extended hours for the summer, remaining open until at least 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 12:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The Heroes Support Group meets every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. The AmVets Post 98 is located at 1852 CR 6070 in West Plains.   
The Willow Springs Senior Center will have a gospel jam and barbequed rib dinner May 21 starting at 4:00 p.m. Come and join the jam and enjoy bbq ribs, baked beans, cole slaw, seasoned potatoes and cherry cheesecake. Tea, coffee or water. $7 for adults and $5 for under 12.
The monthly fundraiser breakfast for the Willow Springs Senior Center will be Saturday, May 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. They will be serving biscuits and gravy, egg casserole, sausages, country ham, fruit, pancakes and cinnamon rolls. All for $5
