The West Plains Council on the Arts will hold the Our Town Then and Now Exhibit May 16 through June 27 at the West Plains Civic Center. The public is invited to meet the artists May 22 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Mountain View High School Alumni invites you to the next planning meeting to be held at the Mountain View Library on Thursday, May 27 at 5:30 p.m. Registration forms for 2021 have been mailed. If you did not receive one, please send your mailing address to  
The AmVets Post 98 is now open extended hours for the summer, remaining open until at least 11:00 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 12:00 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The Heroes Support Group meets every Thursday at 7:00 p.m. The AmVets Post 98 is located at 1852 CR 6070 in West Plains.   
The Willow Springs Senior Center will have a gospel jam and barbequed rib dinner May 21 starting at 4:00 p.m. Come and join the jam and enjoy bbq ribs, baked beans, cole slaw, seasoned potatoes and cherry cheesecake. Tea, coffee or water. $7 for adults and $5 for under 12.
The monthly fundraiser breakfast for the Willow Springs Senior Center will be Saturday, May 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. They will be serving biscuits and gravy, egg casserole, sausages, country ham, fruit, pancakes and cinnamon rolls. All for $5

The Center is now accepting rental reservations for parties, family reunions, and other events.  Contact 417-469-3892 for more information.  They are also taking donations for a yard sale fundraiser through Tuesday, May 25. Please bring any and all donations to the Senior Center.
The Mountain View Public Library is having a special craft session on Thursday, May 6,  at 3:30 p.m. for kids 5 and up. Participants can make a gift for someone special to give on Mother's Day. Call the library for more details at 417-934-6154.
