SCHOOL BOARD - WS Voter Forum Exit Poll Results

Attendees at Thursday night's voters’ forum participated in an informal exit poll. Attendees returned 20 ballots. There are more than 25,000 registered voters in Howell County. In the last April election cycle, 1,344 of those voters cast a ballot. In Willow Springs races, 665 were cast in (contested) school board races, and 59 were cast in city government races. There were no contested races for the city of Willow Springs last April. 

Participants in the exit poll cast 11 votes for Roger Shanks for school board, 12 for Lori Foster, and 16 for Meagan Jones. Just like at the polls, exit poll voters were asked to vote for two candidates. 

In city races, the exit poll favored Kim Rich heavily 16 to 2. For alderman, results were close with Bryan Hogan’s 9 to Luke Bartow’s 11 votes.
