Barbecue Food Truck Opens in Mtn. View

Fans of barbecue will rejoice to know a new option for barbecue has opened in Mountain View. Smokin’ Sam’s is a food truck located at the intersection of Fifth and Elm St. across from the elementary school. Their menu offers a selection of barbecue classics to go, as well as meat by the pound and funnel cakes. Call ahead to order pulled pork or brisket by the pound. 

 

Owners Everett and Crescent Reese are living out their dream of operating a food truck in the Midwest. They are new arrivals to the area, most recently from Washington state. 

 

Smokin’ Sam’s has been open since December 17. They are new members of the Mountain View Chamber of Commerce. Their hours of operation are Tuesday through Saturday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday nights from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
