Busy December for the Mtn. View Garden Club

The Mountain View Garden Club had an unusually busy month, the club announced in a release. The making of the SWAGS always starts off the month. The group created 100 of the 5-foot high Christmas decorations that were hung by the Mtn. View City employees around the city. Gentlemen, we couldn't make this happen without you.

On the 11th, members, and friends of the club, met at Mountain View Healthcare to hang Christmas cards on the residents' doors. This event had been suspended during the years of COVID.

On the 18th, members, and friends of the club, met at the Community Center, to assemble over 60 dozen cookies that the members had baked. Cookies were arranged on platters and taken to the different departments of the City and other businesses and individuals who support and encourage us throughout the year. Afterwards, members and guests met at the Viandel Vineyard for their annual Christmas celebration. This year the event was special. As the new club yearbooks were passed out, President Hilary Connolly shared that the 2025 Yearbook has been dedicated to Jeanne Roles. Jeanne has been a dedicated member for over 25 years and the club Secretary for over 16 years. Connolly then asked Marty Toll to install the new officers. Toll's presentation was very inspiring, as she installed Robi Tanner as President, Hilary Connolly as Vice President, Penny Myers as Secretary and Josephine Goodenow as Treasurer.
