Duddridge Named City Clerk and Court Clerk

Heather Duddridge took the oath of office as the City Clerk for the City of Willow Springs and as the Court Clerk for the Willow Springs Municipal Court during the City Council meeting on January 21. 

Since the departure of the previous City Clerk, Alicia Worley, Duddridge was City Administrator Beverly Hicks’ choice for the position. Duddridge had already begun training and preparation to replace Worley prior to the previous clerk’s last day in Willow Springs. Duddridge has been functioning as the de facto City Clerk since December 11. 

 

With Hicks’ warm recommendation, Duddridge was installed in both positions by a unanimous vote from the City Council.
