Dunaways donate to Willow Springs Public Library

Through a very generous donation from the Sid and Betty Dunaway Trust, the Willow Springs Public Library is getting a total redo, reports the library board. The library has been able to update and preserve the outside of the building. Projects that have been accomplished are washing and sealing the building, installing drip guards to help preserve the front sculptures, and installing an irrigation system to keep the new landscaping green. Stonework, including bench seating at the back of the library, will give patrons a place to sit and relax while using the free Internet.
The renovations will continue to include the repainting of the handrails and flagpole. New LED light fixtures will be installed to highlight entrances, book-drop, and the front sculptures.
The Willow Springs Public Library is appreciative of what the Dunaway's have done for the Willow Springs Community through the library.
