DWI Enforcement Leads to One Douglas Co. Arrest

On March 13, Douglas County Sheriff’s Office participated in the St. Patrick’s Day DWI Enforcement Campaign. Deputies made a total of 16 traffic stops with one resulting in an arrest.  Corporal Wallace arrested John Fink, 49, of Bruner, Mo. after a traffic stop that led into a foot pursuit. John Fink was booked into the Douglas County jail. A warrant was issued for his arrest for possession of controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid a Class D felony, resisting/interfering with arrest for a felony a class e felony, possession of marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid of 10 grams or less – prior drug offense a class a misdemeanor, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia – prior drug offense a class a misdemeanor. 
Fink’s bond was set at $15,000 cash with bond conditions of CPS supervision with twice weekly drug testing and house arrest at a court-approved address unless he obtains verified employment.
