Fatal Crash Outside Willow Springs

Hannah Russell, 21, of Willow Springs passed away at the scene of a one-car crash north of Willow Springs on Sunday morning. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Russell was travelling north on Highway 137 when her vehicle ran off the road two miles north of Willow Springs and struck a tree. The unrestrained driver was ejected, and Howell County Coroner Tim Cherry pronounced her dead at the scene at 11:03 a.m.

 

This was Troop G’s 35th fatality accident in 2020, compared to 39 such accidents at this point in 2019.
