First Two COVID Cases in WS Area

Howell County Health Department reported July 31 that they have been notified a year to date total of 128 cases in the county. At present time, 23 individuals were considered to be active and on isolation, and one remains hospitalized. There have been two deaths in the county. Four of the newly announced cases reside in West Plains, and two reside in the Willow Springs area. All six are isolating at home under public health guidance. Five of the cases were community spread, while one was traced to known cases. As usual, known significant contacts to these cases have been notified by the health department. 
People visiting the following locations during the dates/times below are at LOW risk for contracting COVID-19, but should monitor themselves for symptoms. There is no need to self-quarantine or isolate unless you have symptoms develop.  Anyone who develops symptoms of COVID-19 should contact their health care provider regarding testing and take all necessary precautions to avoid exposing others.
