Fundraising Efforts Kick Off

Evans, Cook, and Copeland Seeking Reelection
Missouri State House of Representatives David Evans (R-154), Bennie Cook (R-142), and Ron Copeland (R-143) hosted a fundraising event at Pizza Americana Tuesday night. Each man is running for reelection in April.
The event was essentially a who’s who of Willow Springs. Business owners and City officials were well-represented in the packed restaurant.
Evans’ special guest was Dean Plocher (R-89), the newly elected House majority floor leader. Plocher described Evans as “instrumental” and “imperative” in the business of the House.
House Speaker Rob Vescovo and State Senator Karla Eslinger were present by phone and each made speeches in support of the candidates.
Retired State Senator Mike Cunningham said a few words in support of Evans, Cook, and Copeland, “They’ve got values that fit into you all’s values.”
Both Copeland and Cook are in their first terms as Representatives. Evans is running for his third term.
