Local students plant Daffodil bulbs

Four members of the Mountain View Garden Club journeyed to Liberty High School on Wednesday, Oct. 16 to meet with Mrs. Nicholson's Agricultural Science 1 class to plant 200 Daffodil bulbs. Five of the trees, immediately in front of the high school, had been chosen as the area to receive these bulbs. This ground had not been dug in since the planting of these trees many years ago, so they found it challenging to dig the four-inch trench. Many of these 22 freshman students had never planted a bulb and enjoyed learning a new skill. It should be quite a sight to see 200 blooming Daffodils in this area in the spring.
