March is Shop Local Month - join the Shop Local Passport Program

March has been proclaimed Shop Local Month, a time to celebrate and support the businesses that make the Willow Springs' community unique. Shopping locally helps keep dollars in the community, supports local jobs, and strengthens the hometown businesses that serve Willow Springs year-round.

 

As part of the celebration, the Willow Springs Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring a Shop Local Passport Program to encourage residents and visitors to explore and support participating member businesses throughout the month.

 

Participants can pick up a Shop Local Passport and collect at least 5 signatures by making any financial transaction (deposit at a bank, payment at an insurance office, purchase at a store, or dinner at an eatery, etc.) at participating Chamber member businesses listed on the back of the Passport. Each stop is a chance to discover something new while supporting local merchants. Completed passports can be turned in for a chance to win a raffle prize.

 

The Shop Local Passport is a fun and rewarding way to make a difference in the community while enjoying everything the local businesses have to offer. Whether you dine, shop, or use local services, every purchase helps strengthen Willow Springs.
