R-IV Superintendent Resigns

The superintendent of schools for the R-IV Willow Spring School District has submitted his resignation. The School Board accepted William Hall’s resignation at the October 11 meeting.
“It’s a resignation, but it’s also a retirement,” Hall explained to Howell County News.
Hall plans to finish his current contract with the school district, which ends on June 20, 2022. It will be his recommendation to the school board to hire the Missouri School Board Association to conduct a statewide search for a new superintendent candidate. This is the process by which Hall himself became superintendent in Willow Springs, he said. The goal will be to hire a new candidate by mid-January.
After 40 years in education, Hall is looking forward to branching out into real estate. He plans to stay in the area and has recently bought a house in West Plains.
