Salvation Army Red Kettle Drive

Red kettles for the Salvation Army’s kettle drive have been placed at four stores around Willow Springs: Town & Country, G&W Foods, Tractor Supply, and Waggoner’s True Value. There will also be cans for donations in several stores around town.

Because of COVID-19, volunteers will not be solicited to ring a bell next to the kettles. Instead, the collection points have been prominently placed with a sign asking for donations. Volunteer bell ringers will be accepted, but participants must wear a mask while manning a kettle.

Salvation Army representatives say this is an “uncertain and desperate time for our community.” The organization has already distributed all the donations collected in 2019 plus an additional $1,500. The need is great this year. Please be generous.

Kettles and cans will be on display throughout the rest of the year.
