Spirit of 1776 Patriotic Program

This year’s patriotic program in the Star Theater featured twelve costumed educational speakers giving speeches about great figures in American history. At the beginning of the program, emcee Avery Parker recognized all the veterans present. The United States Army was the best-represented branch in the theater on Friday. 

 

This year’s speakers were Avery Parker as Uncle Sam, Brittney Brooks as Lady Liberty, Lori Evins as Rosie the Riveter, Amanda Burk as Annie Oakley, Wendy Parker as both Molly Pitcher and Dr. Mary Edwards Walker, Claudia Graham as Nancy Hart, Amelia Deluna as Sybil Lawtinton, Rick Mansfield as Abraham Lincoln, Kyle Shannon as George Washington, Kaitlyn Shannon as Martha Washington, Esther Ramsey as Betsy Ross, Robbie Ramsey as Daniel Boone, and Shannon Casebeer as Mark Twain.
