Wagner Promoted to Water/Sewer Supervisor

Following the unanimous vote from the Willow Springs City Council on October 15, Joe Wagner has been promoted to the position of Water/Sewer Supervisor for the City of Willow Springs. 

 

His promotion comes in the wake of the retirement of the former supervisor of 19 years, Danny Cooper. Wagner has worked for the City for 21 years, according to the recommendation submitted by City Administrator Beverly Hicks. Wagner began his career in the electric department and transferred to the water/sewer department in 2010. Having served as the outgoing supervisor’s right-hand man for many years, Hicks’ recommendation read, “I am confident in his abilities to move this department forward without any interruptions.”

 

Wagner’s promotion is effective immediately.
