Willow Springs Man Hurt in DWI Crash

Nathaniel Grindstaff, 21, of Willow Springs, left the scene of a January 9 crash in an ambulance for treatment of his injuries. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at 4:20 p.m. on Highway Z two miles south of Highway 76 when Grindstaff’s Chevrolet Malibu ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, and hit several trees on the left side of the road. 
Online arrest records show Grindstaff was arrested by MSHP’s Troop G for driving while intoxicated, careless and imprudent driving, no insurance, and no seat belt. He was processed and released.
