Willow Springs Schools Alumni Celebration

The Willow Springs Schools Alumni Celebration will be held Saturday, May 29 at the EAA Hangar located at 810 Bryan St. The featured class is the Class of 1971, as well as the Class of 1970 that missed out on their celebration last year.  Note the cookout has been moved to Saturday to allow those coming from out of town to attend. Doors will open at 3:00 p.m. to allow for plenty of social time, and food will be served beginning at 5:30 p.m. The menu includes grilled burgers, hotdogs, pulled pork and chicken with potato salad, coleslaw, chips and cold drinks. Ample parking and shuttle service from the parking area will be provided. Guests should bring lawn chairs.

This year’s celebration has been planned with unique 2021 concerns in mind. There will be no dinner/program at the Munford Gym this year. The large outdoor space is ideal for an open-air cookout event where social distancing may still be necessary. There will be no charge for the cookout, but donations will be accepted.

Please call 417-469-1400 between 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, or email
WillowSpringsAlumni@gmail.com to register by May 22. Please provide your name, spouse, graduation year, address, phone number and email address for future contact.

Other activities for the day include the Willow Springs Rotary Club Annual Pancake Breakfast, beginning at 7:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church, 311 North Harris St., and finger foods at noon at Bailey Chevrolet, 720 East Main St.
