She spent 19 years as a stay-at-home mother along with being a daycare provider to military families across the United States and abroad.  During their 19 years in the military, while raising four children, they traveled the country being stationed at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri; Fort Sill, Oklahoma; Oberusel, Germany; Fort Riley, Kansas; and again, at Fort Leonard Wood, Missouri.

Bonita and Raymond resided in Mountain View after retiring in 1995, where she enjoyed crafting, painting, shopping, decorating for the holidays, and spending time with her family, especially being a grandma to her eleven grandkids.

When asked Bonita would tell you that her favorite things in life were being a wife, mother, and grandmother.  She will be greatly missed by us all.
