DONALD DEAN CAULDWELL

Donald Dean Cauldwell, a resident of West Plains, formerly of Willow Springs, passed away early Thursday morning, March 4, 2021 while at South View Health Care in West Plains, MO. He was born June 12, 1960 to Herschel Dean and Dixie Lee (Wilbourn) Cauldwell in Ventura, CA and was 60 years old.

 

Donald grew up and attended school in Willow Springs and graduated from Willow Springs High School. He worked at Sequel as a disassembler for more than 10 years. Donald loved to cook and worked for a time in the kitchen at Hillbilly Junction. He also helped cook the meals at South View Health Care. Donald was of the Baptist faith. When he was not working, Donald enjoyed working crossword puzzles. He was very mechanical, and it has been said that he could fix anything. Donald was very likeable, and he was quite the jokester. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

 

Donald was preceded in death by his brother, Russell Wayne Cauldwell; his maternal grandparents, Frank and Bonnie Wilbourn; and his paternal grandparents, Bud and Sophie Cauldwell.

 

He is survived by his parents, Herschel and Dixie Cauldwell of Cabool; two sisters: Sandra Lovan and her husband, Gary of Willow Springs and Cynthia Dickman and her husband, Paul of Rogersville; two daughters: Stephanie and June; his aunt Delores Jeffers; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He is further survived by his special friend, Lisa Watson.

 

The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Donald's memory to the American Cancer Society and they may be left at the funeral home. They also wish to thank Three Rivers Hospice and South View Health Care for the loving care they bestowed on Donald during his time spent with them.
