America in Turmoil
As I sit and watch the drama over the election played out, I can’t help but consider that “We the People” have been ill served by our elected representatives.  They pass legislation every year without prioritizing what is important to our nation. Remember, keeping the nation strong, free, and not beholden to any other country or entity is the most important part of their job.  Yet, the most fundamental part of our governance is to translate the will of the citizen into the direction our nation will move.  When our election system is not secure, a citizen who allows Congress and the Senate to ignore this, is allowing others to determine our nation’s destiny.  Those others do not have our interests at heart.

Any citizen, Democrat or Republican, who isn’t furious over this debacle should be ashamed of themselves. We the People have allowed voter fraud to increase each year.  How?  By not insisting that our voting system be foolproof; one person, one vote.  We don’t have that today because of simple things like a lack of national voter ID, voter rolls which in many states have thousands of deceased people on the rolls, using electronic voting machines which may or may not have a backup paper trail, and from recent allegations, send our voting data to other countries, where it could be manipulated by people who aren’t even Americans.  This is unacceptable!  These are just big things which spring into my mind when I look at what is being reported, or NOT on our evening news.  One other thing is plain to me: punishment for any sort of voter fraud demands severe penalties.  You vote illegally, you get a 20-year prison sentence.  If you are caught rigging an election, you get life in prison.  Too many men and women have died serving our nation and defending our Constitution; millions more have been wounded its defense.  We should not allow their sacrifices to be in vain.

This election has been a clown show, and it should never have happened.  You might ask, what’s the big deal?  It’s plain as the nose on your face; no matter who are declared the winners, half the voters will claim the election is illegitimate.  We the People will end up with 4 more years of partisan infighting instead of Congress and the Senate doing their jobs working for the good of the citizens and our nation!  If you doubt me, I suggest you recap the last four years of bogus investigations, government employees trying to undermine the last election, and the way the losers acted on the floor of Congress.  I doubt that the losing Party in this election will act any differently.

Your children and grandchildren are just one election away from losing the America you grew up in, the freedoms you’ve had, and the ability to vote in an election which will determine the course of our Nation.  When will you take action to stop the theft of your rights and your country?  You have no time left; it’s time to be an American first and take back what others have been trying to steal from you for the past several decades.
