New School Year, New Howell County News Intern

Hello Howell County! My name is Addison Smith. Having the opportunity to serve as the new Howell County News staff intern is such an honor and excitement for me! I am a senior at West Plains Senior High School, and am looking forward to graduating as a Zizzer this coming spring. When not chasing a story for Howell County News, you’ll likely find me at an FFA or Student Council activity. I have the honor to serve both of these organizations on a leadership level. In FFA, I am the West Plains FFA President, the Area XIII Secretary, and a National FFA in the USA reporter. In the Student Council, I serve as my class's Vice President. My experiences within these organizations have shown me that my words have power. Throughout the upcoming months, I look forward to sharing words of life and truth to Howell County News readers.
