Calls for Service

February 2

Deputy Kory Taylor responded to a call for service in regard to a vehicle striking a business on US Highway 160 and leaving the scene of the accident.

Deputies responded to West Plains High School to assist school administration.

Deputy John Buenger arrested an individual at the Circuit Court for an outstanding warrant.

Deputy Avery Stolba conducted a warrant arrest on Vonallmon St, Mountain View.

February 3

Deputy Austin Ryan took a report of stealing.

Deputy Jacob Hamby assisted a towing company with an abandoned vehicle.

Deputy Stolba conducted a warrant arrest at the West Plains Probation & Parole Office.

February 4

Deputy Kyle Holloway responded to a wellbeing check at a residence on US Highway 160 in West Plains. A family friend found the individual deceased in the residence. The death appeared to be of natural causes.

Deputy Holloway arrested an individual on Private Road 6640 in West Plains for an outstanding warrant.

February 5

Deputy Hambelton responded to County Road 4100, West Plains for a death investigation.

February 6

Deputy Leekota Amore responded to a call for a juvenile leaving the West Plains Middle School campus.

Deputy Stolba, working under the Operation Relentless Pursuit Grant, conducted a warrant arrest at an address on County Road 6070, West Plains of an individual with outstanding felony warrants through Howell County and Baxter County, Arkansas.

Deputy Michael Pauly received a littering call on County Road 8620, West Plains.

February 7

Deputy Austin DeShazo responded to a residence on County Road 8510, West Plains for a report of a physical domestic altercation. His investigation determined both parties involved contributed to the assault. The case will be considered closed due to having no cooperative victims.

Deputy Holloway responded to Ozarks Healthcare for a report of an accidental shooting occurring in Caulfield. No criminal act took place and the victim received treatment.

February 8

Deputy Nicholas Barslow conducted a warrant arrest on Holiday Lane, West Plains.

Sgt. Logan Wake conducted a death investigation south of West Plains. This death is not believed to have been caused by any type of violence.

Deputy Stolba conducted a warrant arrest on State Route JJ, West Plains.

Deputy Stolba conducted a warrant arrest on North Ash, Mountain View.
