Property damage was reported at a residence on Private Road 1511 in Pomona.
September 1
A woman reported that her wallet had been lost or stolen for two weeks. The wallet contained the woman’s Social Security card and license.
A domestic disturbance was reported at a home on State Route W in Peace Valley. The involved female stated that the male had wiped dog feces on her and threw gravy on her. The male subject reported that the woman had scratched the back of his neck. Both involved parties will be charged in the incident.
September 2
A vehicle theft was reported at the Mountain View Animal Clinic on County Road 2990. A report was taken.
September 3
A domestic assault was reported on County Road 5290 in Willow Springs. A suspect in the incident was identified. Charges were sent to the Howell County Prosecutor for review.
September 4
A burglary was reported on State Route Z in Willow Springs. The victim advised that someone had broken into her home and stolen books. A report was taken.
A suspect vehicle fled from Deputy Seth Smith when he attempted to conduct a traffic stop on State Route K in West Plains. The suspect vehicle was pursued into the Crider area, where the suspect was apprehended and was taken into custody.
A catalytic converter was stolen from the church van at Chapel Hill Baptist Church on State Route W, south of Mountain View. A report was taken.
Contact was made with a victim on U.S. Highway 63 in West Plains, regarding possible sodomy. The investigation continues.
September 5
Deputy Jacob Hamby attempted a traffic stop on State Route 17 in West Plains. The suspect vehicle parked in the yard of an abandoned house, and the suspect fled on foot. The suspect was apprehended and will face charges for resisting arrest.
September 6
Methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a firearm were seized during the execution of a search warrant at a residence on County Road 7830 in Caulfield. A suspect has been indented, and charges are pending.
A male subject reported that he was bitten by a dog while jogging on County Road 6620. The dog was observed and did not appear to be sick. The victim stated that he would still pursue a rabies shot.
