January 25
Animal Control Officer Davy Hocking received a call regarding a dog found under a carport on North Ash St. when the resident returned home. Upon arrival, Hocking recognized the dog as belonging to an individual who resides on Park St. He returned the dog to its owner. 
January 26
Sergeant Mike Huffman was requested to make contact with a subject regarding threats being made to a juvenile. Sgt. Huffman contacted School Resource Officer Glen Moore. 
Assistant Chief Wes Ellison and Sgt. Huffman assisted Howell County Sheriff’s Office with a foot pursuit north of Hillbilly Junction. The subject was taken into custody. 
The dispatcher took a report of people arguing at Snappy Mart. A male subject was arguing with a woman whom he no longer wanted to be in his truck. She left the area with luggage and her purse. 
January 27
A business on State Route 76 requested additional patrols. 
Asst. Chief Ellison was advised of a subject detailing cars at the Willow Springs Municipal Airport. The officer made contact with the individual and advised him he needed to shut down his operation. The subject said he would. 
Asst. Chief Ellison responded to a report of a woman sleeping in a truck at the trailer park. The subject reported she was waiting on a friend and there were no problems. No further action was required. 
Officer Paden Turnbull received a call of a vehicle slide-off on West US Highway 60. He drove the length of the highway and was unable to locate the car. 
Officer Turnbull performed a building check at Lee’s Tire.
