Calls for Service
April 8
Chief Bryan Hogan, Officer John Thomas, and Officer Jim Hedlesten responded to the scene of the CDL training site. A reporting party called the police station regarding an altercation in progress. The trainer believed the student who was about to take a test was under the influence of a substance and should not be behind the wheel of a semi. There was no indication that the student was in possession of any controlled substances, but at the request of the trainer, officers asked the student to leave and reschedule his test. The subject left without further incident.
Officer Hedlesten responded to a 911 call reporting an argument in the parking lot at Tractor Supply. A man had opened his door and struck another vehicle. After an argument, information was exchanged and a report was taken. 
Officers responded to a 911 call regarding a civil family matter. 
April 9
Officer Corey Clark left statement forms with a store employee who requested to have an individual trespassed from the establishment. 
A reporting party called regarding a suspicious person who was walking back and forth in front of the liquor store. The subject was told to stay off the store’s property. 
April 12
The department took a call reporting a man outside an apartment complex who was bothering children while they are outside. The man was gone before officers arrived. 
April 13
Officer responded to a report of yelling and a disturbance at a residence on North Harris St. Contact was made with the homeowner, who said she had been yelling. She was advised to cease or she would be cited.
