Bears home opener a loss

The Mansfield Lions traveled to Willow Springs to challenge the Bears on St. Patrick’s Day. Last Friday, Bear baseball fans were in the stands for this first time this spring. Willow Springs fell to Mansfield by a score of 8 to 5. 

Next week, the Bears will have two chances to put a tick in the W column. Tuesday, they travel to Alton. On Friday night, there will be another home game against Van Buren at Booster Field at 4:30 p.m.
