WSHS Alumna Wins College Volleyball Award

Kaitlyn Perkins has had a strong start to her 2020 volleyball season at Crowley Ridge College. The Willow Springs native was the 2020-2021 athletic season’s first winner of the Association of Independent Institutions’ volleyball Player of the Week award.
Perkins’ stats rank her number one among her peers. She averages 4.3 digs and 0.6 aces per set. She started all eight sets in two matches for her college team, the Pioneers.
She holds the school record at Crowley Ridge College for digs. Currently, she has achieved 1,321 digs in her career.
