West Plains R-VII School Board agenda

The West Plains R-VII School Board met on Tuesday, August 29. The only item of new business on the agenda was the annual hearing on the tax rate levy. This year’s levy is a rate of 3.7476, compared to last year's rate of 3.7404. According to information from the school district, this change will result in an increase to expected revenue of $7,396,555 versus $6,959,857 last year.
The hearing was open to the public both in person and via Zoom.
Under existing business, the board heard the second reading of a bereavement policy.
The next meeting will be held on September 19 at 5:00 p.m. at the West Plains High School library.
