Jennifer Owens knows that community banks are best equipped to understand local conditions, needs and opportunities. Now, as Vice President of the Mountain Grove branch for Progressive Ozark Bank, she is excited to retain local connections with a bank that truly understands rural families and businesses.
With over 20 years of banking experience, specifically in management and commercial lending. Jennifer is well suited to assist customers with their loan needs while also providing leadership within the local branch and community.
“What keeps me excited about banking all these years is helping people,” Jennifer says. “The opportunity to be part of a locally owned bank was a pull I couldn’t resist and, it honestly feels like coming home.”
Jennifer began her career with First National Bank which eventually went through multiple transitions and grew beyond what she considered to be the traditional definitions of a local community bank.
“My specialty is matching customers to solutions to fit their needs,” Jennifer said, “I really like supporting local families with local resources.”
The position of became available when Danetta Rodgers made the decision to transition into managing her family’s multiple local businesses full-time, a task she had previously handled in addition to her role with Progressive Ozark Bank. A farewell reception was held for Danetta at the end of March with several bank staff, customers and community leaders in attendance.
CEO Stuart Pryor said bringing Jennifer to the bank is indicative of the organization’s heart and vision. “Finding mutually beneficial solutions is our ultimate goal. When the community thrives, we’re all succeeding and that perspective is what makes Progressive Ozark Bank unique.”
