Upscale Leather Goods Store Coming to Willow Springs

H&M Ranch Store will open their doors at their first retail location on September 4 in downtown Willow Springs. A Western decor and accessory store, the newest edition to the retail row will occupy 125 East Main St., the former location of the news office.
The business has been in operation since 2002 selling their handmade wares online or at pop-up locations, said owner Anna Mayberry. Their selection of hand-crafted leather goods includes handbags, crossbody bags, wallets, pillows, and cowhide rugs. Mayberry said their cowhide rugs have proved to be “nationally popular.” To diversify their offerings, H&M Ranch Store will also offer a selection of high-end antiques.
H&M Ranch store is a family business. Mayberry’s daughter, Sam Rosa, puts their handbags together and brings a “creative vibe” to the table. Shane Mayberry, Anna’s husband, curates the antiques for sale.
“We’re excited to have a home base,” Mayberry said.
125 East Main is the “perfect space” for their business, she said. The sale of the building will close on September 4. Mayberry credited the sample display in the storefront windows by Main Street Willow Springs for catching her eye. Mayberry was born and raised in Willow Springs, and for their business were in town twice a week.
“I passed by multiple times, saw the display, and thought ‘that could be us.’ The [window] dressing really made the difference. It put an idea in my head,” she said.
The store will have regular hours beginning September 7 on Monday through Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and on Fridays and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. A grand opening is scheduled on November 7, which will feature an appearance by guest Western artist Jennifer Casebeer.
