Business 63 reduced for ADA Sidewalk Improvements in downtown West Plains

Business 63 in Howell County will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews construct sidewalks. This project is part of the Missouri Department of Transportation's initiative to bring roadway facilities into compliance with the current standards of the American’s with Disabilities Act (ADA).
There are two locations on Business 63 a few blocks apart. The first at the corner of Missouri Ave. and the second at the corner of Washinton Street in West Plains, Missouri.
Weather permitting, work will take place Monday, Dec. 19 through Sunday, Jan. 1 from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. daily.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling in the area.
