Eleven Point Fire Department Christmas Toy Drive kicks off

The Eleven Point Rural Fire Department is once again hosting a toy drive for families in need. The department is asking for donations of new, unwrapped toys for children ages 0-15. Last year the department was able to help over 40 children, and are hoping to help at least that many this year. Cash donations will not be accepted, but the department instead is asking that people purchase the new, unwrapped toys and drop them at the Eleven Point Fire Department.
Toys purchased at Family Dollar in Willow Springs can be collected and held for pick up at the store. The collection will begin on Nov. 15 and run through Dec. 10.
In addition to toy donations, the department is asking for help in locating families who are in need help. If your family, or if you know of a family, is in need please contact Chief Frank Vanhorn at the Eleven Point Fire Department at 417-252-7185 for more information.
