The Mtn. View Public Library announces new web address

The Mountain View Public Library has a new web address, a new website, and a new look.
The new web address is www.mtnviewlibmo.com. Find out what is coming up on the calendar, what new books are on the shelves and links to a lot more.
Story time begins on September 6 at 10:00 a.m. All preschoolers and their parents or caregivers are welcome to attend. There are stories, crafts, snacks and always a good time.
The library is continuing with the Beanstack app which is used to encourages children to keep reading. Download the Beanstack app on a device and locate the Mountain View Public Library. There are challenges listed for your child, book recommendations and a place to log the book titles. After completing seven challenges, come to the library for a prize. No library card necessary to use the app, but hopefully the books will be checked out from the library.
A short course for beginning computer users will be offered in the fall. Also, a program on Google Docs, an alternative to Microsoft Windows, will be held in October. Dates and times will be posted at a later date.
Stop by and get a new library card for only $3.00 and no renewal fee. Call the library at 417-934-6154 for more information.
