Pedal The Cause October 21 in West Plains

Bring your bike, and helmet on Saturday, Oct. 21 for the 2023 West Plains Rides for Pedal the Cause Bike Ride. All participant-raised donations will go to fund innovative cancer research at Siteman Cancer Center and St. Louis Children’s Hospital. The ride starts and finishes at West Plains High School.
Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 21. The bike ride will start at 8:00 a.m. Participants can choose a 7-mile course or complete the course twice to ride 14 miles. A shorter kids' trek will be available. Participants must wear a helmet in order to participate in the bike ride.
To register, go to https://forms.gle/tzqR4FY3Kd5cbrff8. If registered by Sept. 21 the fee is $25.00 and the participant will receive a free t-shirt. If registered before Oct. 13 the fee is $25.00 per rider, but no free t-shirt will be available. From Oct. 14 to Oct. 21 the cost per rider will be $30. Checks should be made payable to Pedal the Cause.
New this year will be Spin Bikes for 30-minute shifts led by Theresa Speake. Register for a time online or call Michelle Cobban to sign up. Honor Field Signs will be available the day of the event in memory of or in honor of a loved one for $30.00 per sign.
Riders are asked to bring any art supplies (paint, paint brushes, markers, pencils, canvases, sketch books, clay, etc.) that will be donated to the Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO in memory of Kiara Holden (6/13/05-1/23/20). Holden was a budding artist and enjoyed making art pieces.
