Committee to Design Road Sign Promoting WS Businesses

Alderwoman Susan Rackley was approached by business owner, Anna Mayberry of H&M Ranch Store, about roadside welcome signs featuring names of local businesses and directing shoppers to the downtown area. Mayberry also informed Alderwoman Rackley that putting a simple yard sign near Love’s has brought more customers into her store.

At the July City Council meeting, City Administrator Beverly Hicks stated that the Main Street Connection from Branson previously encouraged more signage directing shoppers to downtown businesses.

Ultimately, Alderwoman Rackley agreed to head a committee for the design of potential signs and to search for the potential location for them.
