Easter Egg Hunt

The Easter Egg Hunt took place at Booster Field in Willow Springs on April 3. The Lions Club spearheaded, set up, and staffed the event. Volunteers from the Senior Center stuffed the 5,000 eggs with more than 15,000 pieces of candy and toys.
Youngsters and families showed up by the hundred on a beautiful day to hunt Easter eggs under a spotless spring sky. Divided by age group, children swarmed over the grass and picked up all the eggs in no time at all.
As Lion Dean Aye said, “The setup is work, but the cleanup is a breeze.”
The 2021 Easter Egg Hunt was sponsored by: the City of Willow Springs, Willow Care Nursing Home, C&R Guns, G&W Foods, Lee's Tire, Bailey Chevrolet, Split Oak Logistics, Walgreens-Ferguson Drug, Coulter Heating & Cooling, Midwest Walnut, Mid-Ozark Insurance Agency, Randy's Auto, Shelter Insurance, West Plains Bank, Foster’s Auto Repair, and Simmons Bank.
