Espinoza joins the News as ad sales rep

A new face will be representing Howell County News both in person and over the phone. Jodi Espinoza has joined the team as an ad sales representative. Espinoza considers herself a native of South Dakota. “My dad was in sales so we moved quite a few times,” she said. “I graduated from South Dakota State University with a B.S. in Journalism. I entered the South Dakota Air National Guard after high school to help pay for college and then my first real job out of college was working as an account manager for an aviation publication. During my aviation career, I've been blessed to help over 500 businesses owners and managers analyze their current businesses' strengths, weaknesses, and bring to market ways to compete better through marketing initiatives that help them stand out. I want to bring my sales and marketing skills to the local news that connects these important businesses to the wonderful communities we live in!”

 

Espinoza and her husband of 22 years have five children. 

 

“They keep us busy and, we like to say, hopefully young!” she said.
