Fatal Crash in Koshkonong

Jeff Coley, 36, of Poplar Bluff succumbed to his injuries in a Springfield hospital after suffering catastrophic injuries in a three-car crash in Koshkonong on June 11 at 3:40 p.m. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s Troop G, the crash occurred as Coley’s minivan crossed the center line while traveling southbound on US Highway 63. He crashed into a northbound Dodge Ram 3500 operated by a juvenile driver and then into a Chevrolet Tahoe driven by William Beckman of Fort Walton Beach, Fla. 

Coley was airlifted from the crash to Springfield, but was pronounced dead at Cox Medical Center South on the afternoon of June 13 by Dr. Joshua McElderry. 

This is Troop G’s 14th fatality crash for the year as compared to 13 at this time in 2020.
