Hogan, Scarbrough honored by aldermen

Bryan D. Hogan and David Scarbrough were recognized last Thursday for their completion of the Southwest Missouri Water/Wastewater Apprentice program. The apprenticeship program is offered by the Missouri Rural Water Association (MRWA). It takes over 140 hours to complete the program, on top of full-time work, City Administrator Beverly Hicks said Thursday. She called Hogan and Scarbrough “assets to the community.”

“In their position, they must possess a wide range of skills, know about financial and regulatory compliance. They work to keep Missouri DNR happy. They are skilled and experienced wastewater and water operators. No matter the time or day, these are the two we can count on,” Hicks said.

The graduation ceremony for the apprenticeship was Friday at the Mighty Oak Lodge in Lebanon.
