Hogan wins alderman seat

Retired Willow Springs Police Chief Bryan Hogan claimed a victory last Tuesday, winning an alderman’s seat over comparatively new resident Luke Bartow. Hogan’s victory was thanks to a five-vote edge over his opponent – 52 percent of the vote. 

 

“I would just like to thank the community of Willow Springs,” Hogan commented. “I am very excited about this opportunity to serve the citizens of Willow Springs in this capacity. It has been three years since I last worked as the police chief, so I am anxious to jump in to this new position.” 

 

Hogan is scheduled to be sworn in with the other new members of the board on April 25. For more information on the incoming administration, see the front page.
