Liberty sophomore Angel Lopez sustained a serious head injury during the SCA Championship game on November 12 at Ava. He was transported to a hospital for emergency surgery during the game.
Lopez’s family has shared an update on his recovery on social media thanking the community for their prayers, support, and donations.
Lopez is now breathing on his own, out of the Intensive Care Unit, and responding to verbal commands
