Local law enforcement and medical facilities receive Community Partner Award

The Missouri Attorney General's office announced last week that four law enforcement agencies and two medical facilities in Howell County recently received the Community Partner Award. The award was given for their help with the Attorney General's Safe Kits Initiative.
The recipients of this award are the Howell County Sheriff's Office, Willow Springs Police Department, West Plains Police Department, Mountain View Police Department, Mercy St. Francis Hospital and Ozarks Healthcare.
Deputy Press Secretary Madeline Sieren stated on behalf of the Missouri Attorney General's office, "We wanted to highlight the wonderful work these departments and medical facilities have done in order to assist in clearing the backlog of untested sexual assault kits and achieve justice for every victim of an unspeakable crime. We would not have made it this far without them."
