Minor injuries in Pomona accident

Two West Plains residents escaped serious injury in a two-vehicle accident near Pomona July 17.
According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident occurred at 7:13 p.m. on the southbound lane of Highway 63, 2 miles north of Pomona. The patrol reports a 2017 Chevrolet driven by Danniel L. Voyles, 18, struck the right rear of a 2017 Toyota driven by Allison L. Skinner, 48. The Chevrolet then went off the right side of the roadway, went airborne, and overturned.
Voyles was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and was transported by Willow Springs Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare in West Plains for treatment of minor injuries.
Skinner was wearing a seat belt and was transported by South Howell County Ambulance to Ozarks Healthcare, also for treatment of minor injuries.
Voyles’ vehicle received total damage in the accident, while damage to Skinner’s vehicle was reported as moderate.
