A security alarm was activated at Smokers Friendly on East 5th Street. The building was checked and was found to be secure. 
November 21
An officer was called to Mercy ER for a report of an assault. The victim stated that they were in Birch Tree when they were assaulted by multiple individuals. The victim knew one of the suspects and stated that the other assailants were friends of the suspect. 
A non-injury accident was reported at 5th and Elm. A report was taken. 
November 22
An officer assisted in extinguishing a shed fire on David Drive. 
November 23
Patrol was requested in the area of Belmont Street, due to barking dogs. The caller believed someone might be in the area, but officers did not find anyone. 
A funeral escort was provided from Yarber Funeral Home. 
An officer responded to a residence on Oak Street to assist a female subject. The woman had an altered mental state and was transported to the hospital for treatment. 
November 24
An officer responded to a residence on Wilford to take information about a lost dog incident. 
A caller reported that they had been followed by a silver car when leaving Walmart. The caller stated that the occupants of the suspect car were making lewd and harassing gestures. The suspect car was not able to be located. 
An intoxicated woman was causing a disturbance outside of an apartment building on Ash. The woman was advised to go inside and sleep it off. 
A suspicious vehicle was reported in the parking lot of Valley View Apartments. Contact was made with the occupants of the vehicle, who stated they were just waiting on a friend that lived there. 
A caller reported strange noises coming from their attic. The caller wanted the attic checked. It appeared a large rodent had been in the attic. 
November 25
A clerk at Anchor reported that a customer left without paying for fuel. The matter is under investigation. 
November 27
A report was received of someone knocking on doors and running away on South Marr. Contact was made with a group of people in the area. 
A report of possible misconduct was received from a resident on State Route W. No evidence of crime was found. 
A driver involved in an accident in the Walmart left the scene. The matter is under investigation. 
November 28
A suicidal male was transported to the stress unit for treatment. The male subject was transported without incident. 
A medical alarm alert was received from a residence on West James. Contact was made with the woman at the residence, who stated that she was okay. 
A counterfeit bill was received at Anchor. The bill, which had not been used to purchase anything, was seized and destroyed. 
Assistance was given to the Missouri State Highway Patrol to remove a tree that had fallen across State Route 17. 
An officer responded to a residential burglar alarm on South Ash. The alarm had been accidentally set off. 
The Missouri State Highway Patrol requested confirmation of a warrant. The information was faxed to the West Plains Police Department. 
November 29
An intoxicated male attempted to leave a residence on Dameon Street in a vehicle. The man was advised that he would receive criminal charges if he operated the vehicle while intoxicated. 
A caller reported a controlled burn. The information was relayed to dispatch. 
A vehicle was parked on private property on East U.S. Highway 60. The vehicle was leaving as an officer arrived. 
November 30
A possible break-in attempt was reported at a home on State Route W. The area was checked, and extra patrol was conducted in the area. 
A noise complaint was received at an apartment on Ash. The offender apologized and said they would keep the noise down. 
December 1
A woman flagged down an officer on West 1st Street, stating that she was being harassed by her boyfriend. Information was given to the woman, regarding local shelters available to her. 
A hit and run accident was reported at Anchor. A vehicle description was given to the Missouri State Highway Patrol. 
December 2
A residential alarm was activated on 3rd Street. The home was checked and cleared.
