At long last, the Mountain View City Pool has reopened. The first day of the 2024 season was June 1. Attendance was sparse on opening day. After a delayed opening due to Memorial Day storms, the announcement was made during the special meeting May 31 that began at 2:00 p.m. A celebration ceremony is planned for Tuesday, June 4, after press time.
Pool hours are Monday – Saturday 11 am – 7 pm and Sunday 1 pm – 5 pm. Admission is $2.00 ages 5 and up, children 4 years and under are free. Senior citizens admission is $1.00 (65 and older). All children 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult (18 years old).
